Prime Minister Visiting Innovative Technologies Park

Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Bakhytzhan Sagintayev visited working centers of SEZ "PIT" Alatau. At the Kazakhstan Maritime Academy of KBTU Prime Minister was shown a demo rig, used by students and oil company workers for simulation of drilling and control operations during their studies.

KBTU Drilling Centre - a high-tech unique training centre that has no analogues in the CIS. It is designed for testing psychological compatibility and familiarization with a drilling rig crews equipment; testing standard and non-standard technological operations; exercising various scenarios of drilling and exploration works, including possible complications and different situations. The main advantage of DrillSim is its high matching degree to ground and offshore environments, imitation of all work zone interfaces and operator’s room setting. Simulator training courses are held in real time.
