RANKING WEB OF UNIVERSITIES PUBLISHED

According to Webometrics-2017 Satpaev KazNRTU is ranked third among Kazakh universities and 3461 among world universities.

Ranking Web of Universities is a system of ranking of world universities based on a combined indicator that takes into account both the amount of web content (number of pages and files) and the apparent impact of these publications as for the number of external quotes. The rating is published by Cybermetrics Lab, a research group of the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC) located in Madrid.

The purpose of the rating is to increase the presence of academic and research institutes on the Internet and to promote the open publication of scientific results. Rating appeared in 2004 and is updated every January and July. Today, it provides web indicators for more than 12,000 universities around the world.
