Rector's congratulations on the Republic Day

Dear students and teachers! Dear colleagues!

Let me to congratulate you on the Republic Day, the day dedicated to the memory of our national heroes who made a significant contribution to our country’s independence.

On this day 32 years ago, our country made its first step on the path to independence, a year before the USSR’s collapse, adopting the Declaration of State Sovereignty of Kazakhstan. This step was made thanks to the courage of people who were led forward by selfless love for their country.

For each of us, Republic Day means its own. For some - it is mountains and apples, and for others - snow and coal. Moreover, for everyone - it is wide-open spaces, rich nature, centuries-old history and culture, unique traditions, and, of course, technical innovations, for the creation of which our university is working. Therefore, this holiday has become a symbol of our land and the people who work for its benefit.

I would like to sincerely congratulate you on this important holiday and wish you good health, the implementation of all your plans and further success in your activities for the benefit of our native Kazakhstan!
