Satbayev University and Global Korea Center discussed cooperation on transferring the Korean technologies to Kazakhstan

A meeting was held with representatives of Global Korea Center dedicated to the development of technological exchange between Kazakhstan and South Korea. Satbayev University’s Rector Meiram Begentayev and CEO of Global Korea Center (Defense Global) Hong Jinn Song discussed a possible partnership in the field of education and technology transfer to Kazakhstan, as well as the possibility of opening the training center at Satbayev University.
Mr. Jinn Song spoke in detail about the work of Defense Global and its developments in the field of UAVs, robotics, production automation and information security, and also shared his vision for the training of technical specialists.:
"We consider it important to train future engineers for real work," he said at the meeting. - Therefore, one of the directions of our work is to train local engineers in Korean thinking in the field of quality management as part of the personnel and technological exchange between Kazakhstan and Korea.
He also stressed that data protection plays an important role in modern conditions, so the company is actively developing the information security areas and creating data centers that can ensure it.
Defense Global is a powerful technology company specializing in technologies in such areas as defense products, unmanned aerial vehicles, transportation, robotics, artificial intelligence and information technology. Global Korea Center network created by them unites South Korean universities and international partners to implement innovative educational initiatives. Special attention is paid to the integration of Korean technical education - training in the centers is conducted in Korean and English.
All the given issues became key issues in the discussion at the meeting, where representatives of the two sides considered the possibilities of integrating the Korean experience into the Kazakh training system. The meeting was attended by Elena Shevchenko, Head of Center for Earth, Space and Communications Sciences of RK NAS, Vladimir Talanov, Commercial Director of “Bolashak Energy Group”, Alexey Oxenenko, Head of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles Laboratory at Satbayev University, and Nurgul Nalgozhina, Head of International Cooperation Office. The meeting was the first step towards long-term cooperation aimed at advancing the science, education and industry in both countries.
