Satbayev University announces the start of registration for the Kazakhstan Smart Space competition

Acceptance of documents for the International Competition on Space Technologies and Technologies "Kazakhstan Smart Space", dedicated to the 30th anniversary of independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the 60th anniversary of the first manned space flight has started.

The organizers of the competition are Satbayev University together with Kazakhstan Smart Space.

Students of colleges and universities, pupils of schools and circles of Kazakhstan and other countries of the world at the age of 7 to 22 years old in teams with their teachers and mentors can take part. 

Existing scientists and engineers are also welcome to serve as mentors for the project teams.
The competition will be held in four categories in three age categories.

Contest Nominations:

• Layout
• Operating model / product / video
• Research project
• Competition robots (as part of the Almaty Roboman international competition program RobotChallenge© and FIRST FRC©)

Age categories:

• up to and including 12 years old, including "child-parent" family teams
• up to and including 16 years old, including family teams "child - parent
• above 16 years old without age restrictions.
