Satbayev University celebrated Republic Day with the concert dedicated to its native land
Festive concert dedicated to the Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan was held at the Dossym Suleyev Satbayev University Scientific and Cultural Center. Due to the fact that this year marks two significant events at once - 90th anniversary of its foundation and 125th anniversary of the great scientist Kanysh Satbayev, the concert participants paid tribute to the traditions and outstanding personalities who stood at the foundation of University.
Special attention of the audience was attracted by the performance of "Blossom, my land" composition by student Zhuldyz Khapezova and the author's song of "Naiza" group - "Dami ber, Satbayev!". The concert was continued by popular performances from the touring ensemble "Meir BAND" and the performance of the student choir, who performed the famous song "Sarzhailau" by Nurgissa Tlendiyev.
Rector Meiram Begentayev, in his congratulations on Republic Day, noted that the high state awards granted to Satbayev University staff on the holiday eve are a reflection of the entire university’s achievements.
"Scientific achievements of our scientists, the tireless work in education sphere instills confidence in the future of University, is an example for future generations," said Satbayev University’s Rector.
Program culmination was the famous "Otan" composition, which the students executed together with the whole audience.
