Satbayev University Council of Rectors got acquainted with University’s achievements in the jubilee year

A solemn meeting of University’s Council of Rectors was held at Satbayev University, dedicated to 90^th anniversary of the university and 125^th jubilee of the birth of Academician Kanysh Satbayev, where Rector Meiram Begentayev and his colleagues reported on the anniversary year. This year, Council included “Aksakaldar Alkassy’s” Chairman Ulykpan Sydykov, academician Galimkair Mutanov and statesman Adil Shayakhmetov, who were elected honorary members of the Council.

Council of Rectors was held in the landmark place of the university - the new StroyTech Technopark, opened in 2024, which became a year of great achievements, anniversary events and ambitious plans. Thus, University confirmed the status of the center for international cooperation, receiving more than 70 delegations, and launched a large-scale campus renovation program, starting the construction of a new dormitory. 10 laboratories have been opened at the university, including MIT FabLab, a new high-tech center for prototyping and manufacturing industrial designs.

The anniversary year was marked by great achievements in the science and commercialization field, including through the support of its own developments, such as the production of household chemicals, UAVs, modular homes, charging stations and others.

The past anniversary year has become a symbol of generational continuity, scientific discoveries and academic development. In order to support the initiated process, Council of Rectors received a proposal to actively develop scientific schools at the university. This project will be implemented next year jointly with Academic Council of University.

 University is determined to continue research, strengthen partnerships and train highly qualified personnel who will create innovations that can change our world for the better.
