Satbayev University discusses the President's message

On September 7, teachers and students of the T. Basenov Institute of Architecture and Construction met to discuss the Message of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev to the people of Kazakhstan, held on September 1, 2022.

The participants drew attention to the issues related to construction and architecture, because they are connected with the future work of the students of the Institute. In his message, the President touched upon a whole range of problems in the architectural, construction and urban planning spheres. Thus, outdated building codes and rules are now used in the construction of buildings and industrial facilities. It is necessary to switch to new norms and rules (Eurocodes), as well as introduce new principles of planning and designing urban development.

The Head of State instructed to create a document "Urban Planning Code" that would resolve these and many other issues. This task will be carried out within the professional community and its discussion will take an important place in the training of specialists in the field of architecture, construction and urban planning.

We hope that the instructions and tasks given by our President will make a great contribution to the development of the future of Kazakhstan!
