Satbayev University has become a platform for the dialogue on gender equality
Within the framework of Women's History Month, Satbayev University hosted a guest lecture by US General Consul in Kazakhstan, Ms. Caroline Savage on "Women in STEM: Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics" topic.
In her lecture, Ms. Savage told the students about the importance of gender equality issues in the modern world, about women in science and support for women's entrepreneurship. Students were able to ask their questions and discuss various topics.
In addition, General Consul met with the leadership of University, the parties discussed the prospects of cooperation and were acquainted with the research base of the university. University technical departments’ women, who are involved in science, attended the dialogue.
