Satbayev University has brought an innovation to the automotive industry
In early November, Satbayev University’s scientific delegation visited SaryarkaAvtoProm plant in Kostanay - the only plant in Kazakhstan that produces all types of cars under Chevrolet, KIA, Lada, UAZ, and Renault brands. Vice-Rector for Science and International Cooperation Alibek Shokparov headed the delegation.
The meeting was a continuation of negotiations held between Satbayev University and Allur Auto in September of this year within the framework of cooperation program between the country's first technical university and regional production facilities. The parties continued to discuss joint work, which will focus on the training of engineering and technical personnel in demand in the domestic automotive industry. To do this, Satbayev University has planned to open new educational programs with dual training and internship programs directly at SaryarkaAvtoProm plant.
Representatives of almost all major industries and higher educational institutions of the region - «Union of Machine Builders of Kazakhstan», «Agromashholding KZ», companies «QazTehna», «KamlitKZ», Kostanay Engineering and Technical University named after M. Dulatov, Kostanay Regional University named after A. Baitursynov and Kostanay College of Motor Transport attended the delegation.
The trip program was very eventful: in addition to gatherings and meetings with leading engineers and specialists in dual training at Allur Corporate University, it included excursions to production sites of KamlitKZ and Agromashholding companies, as well as meetings with Rectors of universities in the region. During the meetings, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between Satbayev University and M. Dulatov Kostanay University of Engineering and Technology.
The active cooperation program launched this year will be continued in 2023 basd on Roadmap, which guarantees fruitful and effective collaboration in the field of integration of education, science and business of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
