Satbayev University has congratulated Academician Meyrbek Moldabekov
On behalf of Minister of RK Science and Higher Education Sayassat Nurbek, Satbayev University’s Rector congratulated the famous Soviet and Kazakh scientist in mechanics and machine science sphere, one of the founders of space science in Kazakhstan, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor, Academician Meyrbek Moldabekov on his anniversary, handing him a letter on behalf of Minister. The congratulation took place within the framework of International scientific and practical conference dedicated to 75th anniversary of Professor Meyrbek Moldabekov.
The conference brought together experts in the field of mechanics, robotics, as well as space technology and engineering. Marco Ceccarelli, a guest Professor from Rome University Tor Vergata, Zhang Wei, CPR Consul for Science and Technology in Kazakhstan, Tuleshov Amandyk, Director General of the Institute of Mechanics and Machine Science, Nurguzhin Marat, SRIETF President, delivered plenary reports at the conference.
Scientific and practical conferences have become a tradition celebrating the scientific achievements of Academician Meyrbek Moldabekov, who gave his life to engineering science.
Meyrbek Moldabekov is an outstanding scientist and public official, successful leader, musician. Among his achievements are the creation of a scientific school on automatic control systems and theory of mechanisms and machines, participation in creating the space systems for Earth’s remote sensing, communications and broadcasting "Kazsat-2" and "Kazsat-3", a high-precision satellite navigation system in RK; "Baiterek" space rocket complex. Meyrbek Moldabekov is the author of more than 230 scientific papers, including 8 monographs, 4 textbooks, 9 copyright certificates of the USSR and 5 copyright certificates of the Republic of Kazakhstan. He is one of the founders of "Dos-Mukassan" legendary Kazakh vocal and instrumental ensemble.
