Satbayev University has discussed the cooperation with Hong Kong CityU University
Satbayev University hosted an online meeting with CityU University of Hong Kong, which was attended by President and the distinguished professor of University Freddy Boi, Vice President Wen Zhong Li, Assistant Vice President Jennifer Lin, as well as Satbayev University Institutes’ directors.
Representatives of the two universities discussed the opening of joint degree programs in engineering and artificial intelligence field, noting the need to develop a strategic partnership that was laid down by RK Higher Education and Science Minister Sayassat Nurbek.
CityU City University of Hong Kong is a public research university located in Kowloon-Tong district in Hong Kong.
University was established in 1984 and ranks 65th in the world ranking, 23rd in all of Asia and is among the top 100 higher education institutions. Now it consists of four colleges and six schools that offer more than 50 Bachelor's degree programs in business, humanities and social sciences, engineering, energy and environment.
CityU holds leading positions in research and innovation sphere. To promote interdisciplinary research, University has established Hong Kong Institute of Advanced Studies (KIAS), 23 research institutes and centers, as well as 10 centers for applied strategic development covering the various strategically important areas. With the approval of Ministry of Science and Technology of China, two state-owned key laboratories and Chinese National Center for Engineering Research were established at CityU.
