Satbayev University has opened a branch of Mechanical engineering department on the basis of Astana electro-technical plant

On November 8, 2024, Astana hosted the grand opening of the branch of Mechanical engineering department of Satbayev University on the basis of Astana Electro-technical Plant (https://aetz.kz). The given event was an important step in strengthening the link between science and manufacturing, creating unique opportunities for the training of highly qualified engineers and specialists in the engineering industry.

Practical work at production is an important part of training for students of technical specialties. It has become a tradition for Satbayev University to provide future specialists with practical experience in the production field. The new branch of the university department provides students with unique opportunities for training and practice on the basis of modern production, where they will work with real equipment and solve current problems of the industry. In the future, students will improve their knowledge and experience through the dual degree program.
