Satbayev University has presented the book devoted to 100th anniversary of Talgat Begeldinov

On December 21, Polytech hosted the presentation of "He was fearless in the sky" book dedicated to the famous pilot's heroic deeds, twice Hero of the Soviet Union Talgat Begeldinov. The military personnel of martial division # 53975 took part in the solemn event: Deputy commander of the unit Lieutenant Colonel Yerlan Myrzalin, Deputy commander of MTA, Major Sabir Kassainov and the crew commander of MTA aviation flight, Major Bakhtiyar Akmurzinov.

Talgat Begeldinov was a fearless man who went down in the history of Kazakhstan as a hero who gave his life to heaven. During Great Patriotic War, he flew in the squadron of Hero of the Soviet Union S. P. Poshivalnikov, soon became his deputy. His bravery and combat skills were marked with high awards, as well as the high honor of taking part in Victory Parade on Red Square on June 24, 1945.

After the end of the war, Talgat Begeldinov continued his service in the Air Force, and in 1956 moved to work in civil aviation. He worked as Deputy Chairman at Civil Aviation Administration of Kazakhstan, qualified as a builder, supervised the creation of runways in the country’s different cities. He was President of International Charitable Foundation that provides assistance to the disabled of Great Patriotic War and orphans. He lived in Almaty, wrote books and generously shared his memories of the war.
