Satbayev University has provided the platform for economic and social discussion

On May 15, "Great Eurasian Partnership in the period of global transformations" Round table was held on the basis of Satbayev University, dedicated to acute issues of national security and development of Kazakhstan as part of Eurasian community.

Round table, held within the framework of International Forum of the same name, became the discussion platform with participation of leading experts in international cooperation sphere from Kazakhstan, Russia, China, representatives of Kazakhstani higher educational institutions, scientists and diplomats who focused on identifying the role of Kazakhstan in the global architecture of international relations and multipolar world model.

As it is known, Kazakhstan is one of those countries through the territories of which Great Silk Road passes and that, thus, logically connects China as the second economy of the world and European countries. However, most of the speakers noted the importance of not just the geographical location of Kazakhstan, but also the technical achievements necessary for the region’s economic prosperity.

Many significant steps in the given direction are being taken by Satbayev University - an information and technical hub is being created on its basis, a technology park is operating, joint projects are being conducted with National Academy of Sciences.

Round table organizers were Satbayev University, Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, AlmaU, IUIT, Shandong Women's University, KazAlfaTech Research Center, Center for Technology Transfer at SCO member states.
