Satbayev University has risen by more than 3,000 positions in the world ranking of Webometrics
The World Ranking Web of Universities (Webometrics) has been published in 2021.
Satbayev University ranked 3,783. Compared to 2019, it has increased to 3,380 positions.
The global rating includes 125 universities of Kazakhstan. The first three places were traditionally taken by multidisciplinary universities.
Satbayev University took 4th place in the overall Kazakhstani ranking. It means the university took first place among the universities of a technical profile of the Republic of Kazakhstan, which again confirms the title of the number one technical university in Kazakhstan.
Webometrics Ranking of World Universities is a global academic ranking of world universities published by Cybermetrics Lab, a research group of the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC) located in Madrid.
The purpose of the rating is to increase the presence of research institutes on the Internet and to facilitate the open publication of scientific results. The rating appeared in 2004 and is updated every January and July.
