Satbayev University held a seminar on sustainable development for higher educational institutions of Kazakhstan
On November 19, Satbayev University held an online seminar for higher educational institutions of Kazakhstan on "Implementing the sustainable development agenda in evolving the strategy of a modern university" topic.
Seminar’s purpose is to consider ways to integrate the global agenda into the work of a modern university at all levels, including University's development strategy, degree programs and research projects, academic mobility of students, forms and ways of involving the employees and expanding interaction with partners at the local and international levels to fulfill the tasks of advancing the relevant knowledge, skills and projects necessary for the sustainable future.
More than 90 representatives from more than 20 universities of the country took part in the seminar. During the seminar, colleagues from organizations of higher and postgraduate education exchanged experiences and discussed topical issues and solutions for executing the principles of sustainable development in the work of universities.
