Satbayev University held the Republican Student Olympiad "With perfect knowledge for the future"
On February 27-28, the Republican subject Olympiad " With perfect knowledge for the future " was held at Satbayev University. The Olympiad was attended by future civil engineers from all regions of Kazakhstan, who performed tasks on "Engineering mechanics", "Building materials", "Building structures", "Engineering systems and networks" and "Transport structures".
Each competitive task consisted of tasks of 4 levels of difficulty. The Olympiad was held in an online format. 149 students completed tasks in real time and sent answers via the Internet. The assignments were designed so that students not only demonstrated in-depth knowledge of their field, but also showed ingenuity and engineering thinking.
The commission, chaired by Kuralai Dzholdasova, Associate Professor at the Institute of Architecture and Construction, assessed not only the correctness of the task, but its quality and completeness.
Eleven technical universities from Almaty, Kyzylorda, Taraz, North Kazakhstan and East Kazakhstan regions, Pavlodar and Turkmenistan took part in the Olympiad. The organizers were the Department of "Construction and Building Materials" of the Institute of Architecture and Construction named after T.K. Basenov.
