Satbayev University hosted a conference dedicated to innovative technologies in various industries
On November 30, Satbayev University hosted the International Scientific and Practical Conference "Innovative development of Industry in Kazakhstan: problems and solutions", dedicated to the 85th anniversary of the birth of the outstanding scientist Nariman Davilbekov. As part of the conference, a Digital Laboratory of VR Technologies named after Professor N.H. Davilbekov was opened at the university.
Leading scientists attended the conference from Kazakhstan, Russia and Poland, the family, students and colleagues of Nariman Khalbekovich. The Vice-rector for Social and Cultural Development of Satbayev University Mansur Alimkhanov opened the plenary session.
The conference became a platform for scientists from the mining and metallurgical, oil, and energy industries working in the field of creating innovative technologies. The reports were also devoted to developments in the field of materials science and metalworking, transport, logistics and renewable energy sources. Active networking among the participants became the basis for establishing cooperation.
The person in whose honor this scientific event was organized is an outstanding scientist Nariman Davilbekov, founder of the rolling production school, academician of the International Academy of Sciences of the Higher School, Head of the Department of Metallurgical Machines and Equipment.
Nariman Khalbekovich is a production worker who spent a lot of time working at the Karaganda Metallurgical Combine. For more than 40 years, while teaching, he has been constantly and fruitfully engaged in research work. He conducted his research at the Karaganda and Magnitogorsk Metallurgical Plants, collaborated with AHMBP, solving production problems, creating and implementing innovative technologies in the process of rolling ferrous and non-ferrous metals.
Nariman Davilbekov is the author of more than 200 publications, 4 monographs, 16 author's certificates, a number of textbooks and teaching aids. He was awarded the jubilee medal in honor of the 10th anniversary of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the jubilee medal “For Valiant Labor”, the medal “Veteran of Labor". His numerous students work at all metallurgical and machine-building plants in Kazakhstan or the CIS. Many of them gathered at the conference. The conference was organized by the Institute of Energy and Mechanical Engineering Satbayev University.
