Satbayev University hosted a lecture entitled "Golden Horde - Golden Cradle"
Within the frame of the celebration of the 750th anniversary of the Golden Horde on November 22nd, 2019 a guest lecture was held by the Department of social sciences of the Al-Mashani Institute of basic education. To read lecture was invited a medievalist, head of the Department of history of Kazakhstan at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, doctor of historical sciences, Professor Karibaev Bereket Bakhytzhanovich. The lecture topic was “The Golden Horde - the golden cradle: the origins of Kazakh nationality”.
In his lecture, Professor Karibaev touched upon the facts and the role of the Golden Horde period in the formation of the Kazakh Khanate and the world history of all Eurasia. Professor Karibaev stressed that today such projects as “Archive-2025”, “Great Names of the Great Steppe”, “Genesis of the Turkic World” are being implemented in the country. Guest lecture by Professor Karibaev aroused great interest and response among students of the first year of study at Satbayev University.
