Satbayev University invites you to participate in the conference "Development of mining and metallurgical complex of Kazakhstan on the implementation of the State Investment Project"
Satbayev University is the flagship of higher technical education of our country, the forge of professional and scientific personnel of the Republic, whose achievements are created by scientists, who devoted their lives to development of engineering in Kazakhstan. One of them was Omirkhan Baykonurov, a prominent Kazakh scientist, mining engineer, creator of innovative technologies for mining nonferrous metal ores, a brilliant teacher and public figure. This year it was 110 years from the day of his birth. To celebrate his achievements, the Mining and Metallurgical Institute named after O. Baikonurov invites scientists, teachers, heads of enterprises to participate in the international scientific and technical conference "Development of mining and metallurgical complex of Kazakhstan on realization of state investment project".
The conference will be held on the 25th of November. Within the frame of the conference, an exhibition of Omirkhan Baykonurov's publications and a round table dedicated to his anniversary are planned. We hope that you will do your best to support the celebration of Omirkhan Baikonurov's anniversary, who made a significant contribution to creation and organization of mining school and training of Kazakhstani engineers.
