Satbayev University is expanding the collaboration with Chinese Petroleum University

Representatives of the branch of Chinese Petroleum University (China University of Petroleum, Karamai city, China) visited Satbayev University on the working visit. The given visit is a continuation of the cooperation initiated during the visit of Satbayev University’s representatives to Chinese Petroleum University within the framework of Asia-Europe Expo -Cooperation and International Exchange in Education Forum in China in September of this year.

Chinese Petroleum University is one of the key research universities in China, which holds a leading position in petroleum engineering sphere in China. Its Karamai branch is a modern university with new academic buildings and professional laboratories that provides students with many opportunities for practical work and scientific research in the oil field.

The meeting was attended by Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of Satbayev University Bakhyt Zhautikov, Director of K. Turyssov Institute of Geology and Oil -Gas Business Askar Syzdykov and Vice-President of Karamai branch at Chinese Petroleum University Mr. Xu Changliang. The parties discussed the continuation of cooperation, development of academic and scientific ties, elaboration of double-degree education programs, the exchange of students and research groups for joint scientific research.
