Satbayev University is expanding the collaboration with Polish universities

Satbayev University’s delegation visited Kazimierz Pulaski University of Technology and Humanities in Radom. As part of the visit program, the delegation also took part in 2022-2023 academic year Opening Ceremony, which was attended by Vice Minister of Education and Science at Republic of Poland Tomasz Rymkowski, General Director of Education and Science Ministry Slavomir Adamec as well.

The event was also attended by Rectors and Vice-rectors of other partner universities such as Kielce University of Technology, Warsaw University of Management, etc.

As part of the working trip of Satbayev University’s Rector to Poland, memoranda of cooperation were signed with Kazimierz Pulaski University of Technology and Humanities in Radom and Kielce University of Technology (Poland).

Cooperation program with both universities will be aimed at the joint development of innovative potential of universities and scientific competencies of students who will receive expanded opportunities provided owing to dual degree programs.

Radom University is one of the most successful universities in Poland, established in 1950 as a general engineering school. Now it is a state university, the largest university in the region, which trains the students in 8 directions.

Kielce University of Technology is a relatively young higher educational institution, inheriting the Stanislaw Stasic Mining Academy, one of the first higher schools in Poland, opened in 1816 to train engineers. In 1965, Kielce-Radom Evening Higher Engineering School was established, in 1974 it was transformed into Kielce University of Technology. Now it is a modern university, teaching almost 10 thousand students.

Within the framework of cooperation, the universities will develop joint programs in the academic and scientific fields, exchange of teachers and researchers, information and experience. The work program will include lectures, joint research, joint participation in conferences and other events as well as academic mobility growth.
