Satbayev University Racing Team is ready for new victories

On October 4, Satbayev University hosted the presentation of a new car of the university's student Racing Team for "Shell Eco-Marathon Asia 2022". The team's new car is made entirely of carbon fiber and runs on electricity.

Shell Eco-Marathon Indonesia 2022 is going to be held in Indonesia from October 11 to 15 on Lombok Island, where Mandalika International Street Circuit (Pertamina Mandalika International Street Circuit MotoGP) is located. This is an annual innovation contest in the field of energy-efficient vehicles, in which university students create environmentally friendly cars.

The race has been held since 1939. Scientists working at a research laboratory in Illinois made a friendly bet to find out who could drive their car the furthest on just one gallon of fuel. Since then, Shell Eco-marathon competitions have been held all over the world.  The Racing Team will participate in this race for the fourth time.
