Satbayev University reports the plan for the advancement of students’ life

The Department for Student Affairs conducted an opinion poll of students on topic of what is necessary to do to improve the life of the university in social terms. Students responded and drew the attention of the administration to the problems that concern them. As a result, there was a working meeting under the chairmanship of the head of the rector's apparatus Berik Mukhtybaev took place. The departments sounded a plan of measures to improve social and living conditions in the academic buildings and hostels.

In 2018, sanitary units in the Mining and Smelting Building will be repaired, 70 classrooms will be equipped with new blackboards. The Heat building will be rebuilt. All the buildings will be equipped with additional places for students to relax. Heating of the university works in a regular mode and does not require replacement.

Another cafeteria will be open further to the existing seven. The refrigerators will purchase for the hostels, cosmetic repairs will be made in the dorms in the summer of 2018, and all the comments made by students will be taken into account.

Due to the large flow of students and teachers at the university, it is impossible to organize a wardrobe, and significantly change the schedule. The schedule for the spring semester will be processed and compiled most optimally. Students could have free attendance on conditions of  complies the university's rules that student can pass is not more than 20% of classrooms, and not more than 30% if student has average score of more than 3.5.
