Satbayev University signed a cooperation agreement with Polytechnic Institute of Grenoble

Signing of Collaboration Memorandum took place on November 3 and was the result of the visit of French engineering and business schools’ representatives to Polytech during the VIII International Forum of Kazakh-French Higher Education Institutions. The visit and round table dedicated to the training of engineers were held in the friendly, informal atmosphere.

The signed memorandum enables the two universities to elaborate and develop any joint projects. Cooperation will begin with academic interaction in the field of exchange of teachers and students, common innovative projects, seminars or conferences, as well as joint publications.

Grenoble Polytechnic Institute (Grenoble Institut National Polytechnique — Université Grenoble Alpes) is the largest "big school" in France, one of the most prestigious and well-known universities in the country. Institute was officially founded in 1900 and became one of the heirs of Université de Grenoble, founded in 1339. Today, Institute includes eight engineering and administrative schools and has the status of National Polytechnic Institute. Grenoble participates in the Minatec project, one of Europe's largest research centers in nanotechnology sphere, and its first president was Louis Neel, the Nobel Prize winner in physics.

Memorandum was signed by Yerzhan Kuldeyev, Vice-Rector for Science and Corporate Development at Satbayev University, and Jean-Emmanuel Brocken, Deputy Director of École Nationale Supérieure de Physique, Électronique, Matériaux, one of the schools of Grenoble Institute.
