Satbayev University will hold a Computer science Olympiad for schoolchildren at the end of March

"Software engineering" and "Scientific and educational center of mathematics and Cybernetics" Departments of Institute of Cybernetics and information technology of Satbayev University will hold an Olympiad in programming and mathematics among students of 9-11 grades of schools in Almaty on March 30, 2021.

Students of grades 9-11 are invited to participate in the Olympiad "Information technologies – a window to the future - 2021". Interest in the Сomputer Science Olympiad can be the first step to a future profession. The winners of the competition are awarded a scholarship from the rector of the University.

The Olympiad is held in three categories:

• Grand Prix "Information technologies - a window to the future". The rector's scholarship is 100000 KZT;
• Nomination "Information technologies-a window to the future". The rector's scholarship is 75000 KZT;
• Nomination "Information technologies - a window to the future". The scholarship is 50000 KZT.

The Rector's Scholarship is awarded for 1 year of study and in case you maintain a GPA of 2.66 or above.

To participate in the Olympiad you need to register until 17.00 on March 27, 2021.

Place of the Olympiad: Almaty, Satbayev street, 22, Satbayev University. Participants of the Olympiad should carry an identification document with a photo.
