Satbayev University will host a seminar on methods of engineering protection of buildings and structures from earthquakes

On February 12 and 13, 2024, Satbayev University is holding an international practical seminar-meeting on the topic: "Modern methods of engineering protection of buildings and structures from earthquakes and other dynamic impacts".

The event will be devoted to discussing relevant information on technical achievements and experience in the application of effective seismic protection of buildings and structures by specialists in the field of earthquake-resistant construction and for the possibility of their implementation in construction.

It will be held jointly with the Federal State Budgetary Institution "TSNIIP of the Ministry of Construction of the Russian Federation" – Federal State Budgetary Institution "Central Research and Design Institute of the Ministry of Construction and Housing and Communal Services of the Russian Federation", "Eurasian SEISMO Association" – Eurasian Association for Seismology, Earthquake-resistant Construction and Protection from Natural Disasters, Russia – Kazakhstan – CIS states; AS "SROSEXPERT" is an association of self–regulating organization "National Association of specialists and experts in the field of urban planning, investment and construction activities and housing and communal services".

The following are invited to participate: well-known scientists, managers and specialists of enterprises producing vibration and seismic insulation systems, teachers, doctoral students and undergraduates of universities, bodies of expertise and construction supervision, scientific, innovative, design, construction organizations, and other interested persons.
