Satbayev University will participate in the revival of the national geological service
On September 17, 2021, Chairman of Geology Committee at Ministry of Ecology, Geology and Natural Resources Talgat Satiyev paid a working visit to K. I. Satbayev Kazakh National Research Technical University (Satbayev University).
During the meeting, the university scientists demonstrated their scientific and technical developments, the results of which are actively used in the real sector of the economy, as well as laboratories that allow expanding the horizons of the globe cognition.
- It is necessary to create conditions for collaboration between scientists and the industrial economy sector that will allow not only to develop the applied nature of research, but also to increase the level of training of bachelors, masters and PhD doctors through training and production practice at the workplace, - said Satiyev Talgat.
In the Message dated September 1, 2021, Head of our state Kassym-Jomart Tokayev instructed to create an effective national geological service in order to improve the quality of geological research of the country's subsurface.
To implement President’s instructions, Geology Committee under Ministry of Ecology, Geology and Natural Resources signed a memorandum with Satbayev University that will strengthen the material and technical base of the university and create attractive conditions for talented scientists and researchers to be involved in science.
The parties agreed to work together on the introduction of new technologies in the field of geology, automation and modern digital technologies to improve the efficiency of exploration and production of Kazakhstan's subsurface resources.
