Satpayev University held a subject Olympiad in the mode of distance learning
On March 27-28, 2024, at the initiative of the Department of Construction and Building Materials of the T. Basenov Institute of Architecture and Construction of Satpayev University, a subject Olympiad was held remotely in the disciplines of Engineering Mechanics, Building Materials, Building Structures, Geotechnics, Materials science and technology of structural materials and Engineering systems of buildings and structures.
The tasks of the Olympiad are designed for in-depth mastering of the discipline by students, increasing their ingenuity and engineering abilities.
9 technical universities from Almaty, Kyzylorda, Shymkent, Pavlodar, Astana and Atyrau took part in the Olympiad. The Olympiad was attended by Satbayev University, KazGASA, Kyzylorda University named after Korkyt Ata, The Academy of Logistics and Transport, Caspian University, Toraighyrov University, Atyrau Oil and Gas University named after Safi Utebayev, Auezov University and L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University students took an active part.
Students of Satpayev University in the discipline "Engineering mechanics" Teterin Ivan – 1st place, Kudyshev Nurbolat – 2nd place, in the discipline "Building structures" Mazhitova Takhmina – 2nd place, Sailau Aliya – 3rd place, in the discipline "Geotechnics" Kabyl Amina - 2nd place, in the discipline "Materials science and technology of structural materials" Akulova Sofia - 1st place, Alimbay Azamat - 2nd place, in the discipline " Engineering systems of buildings and structures" Telibayeva Zhansaya – 1st place, Kriventsova Sofya – 2nd place, Sychev Danil – 3rd place.
The Organizing Committee noted that students are always active, inquisitive, proactive and strive to improve and expand their knowledge. Currently, the organizing committee receives a lot of good feedback from the leadership of students and universities who participated in the Olympiad. The Olympiad showed a high level of competitiveness, knowledge and skills of students – future specialists in the construction and transport industry.
