Seminars on Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning were held at Satbayev University
From June 7 to 19, 2021, the NAO “Kazakh National Research Technical University named after K. I. Satpayev” (Satbayev University) hosted a summer series of seminars on artificial intelligence and machine learning AI & ML Summer Workshop 2021.
The two-week series of seminars were held under the auspices of the international project ACeSYRI (Erasmus+), aimed at creating an international training center for young scientists, of which Satbayev University is a participant. The main organizer of the event is Satbayev University (ICIT, local coordinator of the ACeSYRI project, Professor of the Department of" Software Engineering " Mukhamediev R. I., assistant and moderator of the seminar series Abdygalym Bayangali (coordinator for academic issues of the ACeSYRI project, Master Simagulov E., doctoral student Elis M.) in cooperation with the IIVT MES RK, with the participation of the International Academy of Informatization.
As part of a series of seminars in the first week of the cycle, students were given a course on the basics of machine learning and deep neural networks. In the second week, scientists discussed various aspects of the practical application of artificial intelligence and machine learning and their impact on society.
Along with foreign and Kazakh scientists, scientists and young researchers from Satbayev University spoke at the seminar:

- Predicting personal results of students, Alibek Abdurazakov
- Explainable Machine Learning by Marina Yelis
57 people registered for the seminar. 32 trainees continue to be tested and perform laboratory work on the first week of the cycle.
