Sports sections are being opened at Satbayev University as part of Health program and preparation for Presidential tests
"Physical fitness is not only an important key to a healthy body, it also underlies creative intellectual activity," wrote John F. Kennedy. At Satbayev University, access to sports is open as part of the team's wellness program. The highest expression related to the success of the program will be Presidential tests.
Classes in Satbayev University Sports sections are held on University campus within walking distance from the place of work. Professional trainers who provide individual attention to each student conduct classes. Classes are held free of charge in the university gym (FabLab Building).
Recruitment to the sports sections will take place from February 1 to February 12. You need to choose a section and enroll in these terms.

The program of Winter Presidential physical fitness tests for SU teachers and employees 2022
In 2022, skiing, shooting with an air rifle, pulling up (for men) and lifting the torso from the supine position (for women) have been defined for Winter Presidential tests.
Prizes to the winners:
1. Participants who have completed Presidential level of readiness will be awarded a cash prize in 30 MCI amount, a holiday home pass and a certificate to a sports store in the amount of 300,000 tenge.
2. Participants who have completed National Level of Readiness will be awarded a cash prize of 20 MCI and winter sports equipment.
Participants who have applied for participation no later than February 4 and have passed a medical examination are allowed to take the Presidential tests. A medical examination is carried out at University medical center in Dormitory # 1.
Presidential tests will be spent in several stages during February 2022.

Cross-country skiing training
The opportunity to get prepared for Presidential cross-country skiing tests is provided to the university staff by "Sunkar" International Ski Jumping Complex.
Trainings are taking place from Monday to Friday from 12.00 to 16.00 and from 18.00 to 19.00 at 128\8 Al-Farabi Ave. The cost of 1 hour is 1,000 tenge. Skating cross-country skis (not classic) are required to participate in the Presidential Tests. Each employee must bring their skis, boots and poles to training, there is no rental. You can also buy skis that match your level of training, price and quality: Alexey Aryshev +7 701 334 8505.
