The great desire for knowledge and practical skills in the field of geology led the students of the Young Geologist circle from Ust-Kamenogorsk on a journey into the wonderful world of the Department of Geological Survey, Prospecting and Exploration of Mineral Deposits at Satbayev University

Within a few days, the young geologists got acquainted with the basics of various branches of geology, such as crystal optics, laboratory methods for studying minerals and paleontology. They managed to delve into the essence of these disciplines and see how important and exciting the industry is, which helps to find and explore mineral deposits.

The teachers of the department conducted classes for the students, deeply revealing the topic of geological processes and methods of exploring the bowels of the earth. The students were amazed by the opportunities available to them at the department, and asked the teachers questions with great interest. Thanks to practical exercises and laboratory work, the children not only gained theoretical knowledge, but also learned how to apply it in practice.

Participation in such a unique educational project helped students find their passion for geology and confirmed their confidence in choosing a future profession.

With fresh insights, they return to their city, full of inspiration and ready to overcome all obstacles on the way to realizing their geological dreams. This is just the beginning of their exciting journey, which can lead them to new discoveries and successes in the field of geology.
