The Board of Directors of Satbayev University announces a competition for the vacant positions of members of the Board

Board of Directors at non-profit joint stock company "Kazakh National Research Technical University named after K. I. Satbayev" has announced a contest for vacant positions of Management Board members: Management Board member - Vice-Rector for corporate development and strategic planning; Management Board member -Vice-Rector for science and international cooperation; Management Board member - Vice-Rector for socio-cultural development of the non-profit joint stock company "Kazakh National Research Technical University named after K. I. Satbayev", located at: Almaty,  Satbayev street 22.

The main subject of the activity is the provision of educational services in the field of higher, postgraduate, technical and professional, post-secondary and additional education.

The purpose of the activity is to create the necessary conditions for obtaining high-quality education, training and teaching aimed at formation, growth and professional development of an individual due to national and universal values, achievements of science and practice, as well as for developing the scientific potential and commercialization related to elaborations.

Requirements for contest participants:

1. Member of Management Board - Vice-Rector for corporate development and strategic planning:

Requirements:

1.1 Education:

1) higher and postgraduate education;

2) the presence of an academic degree;

1.2 Work experience in senior positions in educational organizations for at least 5 years.

1.3 Knowledge and skills:

1) knowledge of the regulatory legal acts of Republic of Kazakhstan regulating relations in the areas corresponding to the specialization of position;

2) fluency in Kazakh, Russian and English (preferably)

3) strategic planning skills;

4) knowledge of risk management assessment;

5) experience in the development of strategic university documents;

6) effective communication and negotiation skills.

2. Member of Management Board - Vice-Rector for science and international cooperation:

Requirements:

1.1 Education:

1) higher and postgraduate education;

2) the presence of an academic degree;

3) the presence of a certificate on completing the advanced training courses in education management is welcome;

1.2 Work experience in senior positions in educational or scientific organizations for at least 5 years.

1.3 Knowledge and skills:

1) knowledge of the regulatory legal acts of Republic of Kazakhstan regulating relations in the areas corresponding to the specialization of position;

2) fluency in Kazakh, Russian and English;

3) knowledge of the basic principles of management in education sphere;

4) skills of strategic planning and digitalization of business processes;

5) effective communication and negotiation skills.

3. Member of Management Board - Vice-Rector for social and cultural development:

Requirements:

1.1 Education:

1) higher and postgraduate education;

2) the presence of a certificate on passing the advanced training courses in education management is welcome;

1.2 Work experience in senior positions in educational organizations for at least 3 years.

1.3 Knowledge and skills:

1) knowledge of the regulatory legal acts of Republic of Kazakhstan regulating relations in the areas corresponding to the specialization of position;

2) fluency in Kazakh, Russian and English (preferably);

3) knowledge of the basics of youth policy and work with students;

4) knowledge of SMM tools;

5) skills of strategic planning and digitalization of business processes;

6) skills of organizing events with the students’ participation;

7) effective communication and negotiation skills.

A person who is not eligible for the contest:

1) under twenty-five years of age;

2) previously committed a corruption offense;

3) having a pending or unserved criminal record;

4) registered in special medical institutions;

5) other cases provided by Republic of Kazakhstan legislation.

The person applying for participation in the contest submits the following documents:

1) an application in the prescribed form;

2) a copy of the identity document of Contest participant;

3) the track record of the contestant with a 3x4 color photo in the prescribed form;

4) notarized copies of educational documents and their appendices;

5) a copy of the document confirming the work activity, certified by HR at the place (current or last) of work;

6) medical certificate of health status (medical professional advisory opinion) in the form # 075/y;

7) a certificate from a psych neurological organization issued no more than one year before the date of documents submission, in accordance with the legislation on public services;

8) a certificate from a drug treatment organization issued no more than one year before the date of documents submission in accordance with the legislation on public services;

9) a document confirming the absence of a ban on holding a position in accordance with criminal law.

Registering the documents for participation in the competition is carried out within 5 (five) working days from the date of announcement publication.
