THE British edition newly published the list of the best universities in the world
Kazakhstan is represented by three universities – Satbayev University, Al-Farabi Kazakh National University and L. N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University in one of the most prestigious "Times Higher World University Rankings 2021 by subject" subject rankings that includes 1512 higher educational institutions from all over the world.
According to the reporting period, the results of Satbayev University's research, production and educational activities were highly evaluated by THE* WUR 2021 by subject rating in two prestigious "Physical Sciences", "Engineering and Technology" subject categories.
Satbayev University successfully debuted, ranking places in the range of 601-800 in "Physical Sciences" category that incorporates such areas as chemistry, geology, ecology, earth and sea science, mathematics and statistics, physics and astronomy. In addition, it took a position in the range of 801-1000 in "Engineering and Technology" category that includes chemical engineering, civil engineering, electrical and electronics, general engineering, mechanical engineering and aircraft construction.
The ranking of universities takes into account indicators for the quality of education, the number and quality of scientific publications, as well as research income for industry and the commercial sector for each subject category.
It is important to note that all universities that are published in the rating are carefully selected and are among the top best educational institutions in the world.
