The conference will be held «Ulytau – the cradle of metallurgy of Kazakhstan» (May 18-19)
We invite you to take part in the International scientific and practical conference «Ulytau – the cradle of metallurgy of Kazakhstan», dedicated to the 110th anniversary of the birth of the Honored Scientist of the Kazakh SSR, corresponding member of the Academy of Sciences of the Kazakh SSR, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Ibrahim Abylgazievich Onaev.
The conference will be held in 4 sections:
- Mining engineering
- Metallurgy and mineral processing
- Environmental safety and labor protection
- Service technologies in the mining and metallurgical industry
The key problems of the mining and metallurgical complex of Kazakhstan will be analyzed at the meetings of the conference, specific mechanisms and qualitative measures for the transformation of the resource concept of the development of the complex into a scientific and innovative cluster of Central Asia will be proposed.
The Conference will include a round table dedicated to the 110th anniversary of the prominent scientist, Academician Ibrahim Onayev. He is one of the brightest and outstanding metallurgists of our country, one of the founders of the Kazakhstan metallurgical school, who made a significant contribution to the training and education of scientific and engineering personnel for the economy of Kazakhstan.
The conference will be held in a traditional and online format. Applications for participation are accepted until April 17, 2023.
The publication of the proceedings is planned after the conference in electronic form on the university's website. Reports (in Kazakh, or Russian, or English) are submitted to the Conference secretariat by April 25, 2023. The Organizing Committee reserves the right to reject reports that do not meet the requirements.
