As Head of state, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev stressed: "One of the priorities of the country will be the development of deposits of rare and rare earth metals, which requires careful geological exploration." One of the steps necessary for this is the preparation of a young shift of geologists, i.e. engineers who are able to show leadership qualities, creative thinking, which means the restructuring of the entire learning process.
- Global climate change, pandemics, international conflicts are no longer fears, but facts. At Satbayev University, we see that this is the time when we need to think about how we use science and energy to create a sustainable and prosperous future. This is not just a conversation about technology, it is part of our path to a new philosophy," Askar Khamzaevich said in his speech.
