"The future is in our hands" scientific and practical conference was held at Satbayev University
"The Future is in our hands" student conference is dedicated to the Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan and gives students the opportunity to take their first step in scientific work in the field of earth sciences, management and economics and technical sciences. The conference was also attended by undergraduates and doctoral students.
The conference was opened with a speech by Vice-Rector for Science and International Cooperation Alibek Shokparov:
- Representatives of the younger generation, like you, are forming a new face of our country. You are striving for new milestones and this is the reason for the emergence of new ideas that shape the future for all of us. I wish you to make the most of your opportunities, achieve great achievements, reach great heights," said Vice-rector.
Erik Merkibayev, a member of Young Scientists’ Council at Polytech, took the relay to talk about young people’s role at the university and the opportunities that the university provides for aspiring scientists.
After the speeches, the reports of the participants began. Following the conference results, the participants received diplomas and certificates.
The conference was held at Dossym Suleyev Center for Science and Creativity. An exhibition of books and scientific achievements of university students was held here as part of the conference.
