The Italian architect has revealed BIM technologies’ possibilities to Satbayev University’s students and teachers
On April 27, Satbayev University hosted a meeting of teachers, doctoral students, undergraduates and students of Architecture and Construction Faculty at Satbayev University with the architect Umberto Alezi and Mr. Giulio Amatucci, President of Italian-Kazakh Chamber for Commercial Relations with Kazakhstan.
Italian specialists shared with their Kazakh colleagues their vision related to the design created owing to innovative design tools and methods. Much attention was paid to BIM technologies and how they help in architectural creativity and the creation of the design capable of taking world-leading positions.
The meeting was held at the initiative of Secretary General of the Italian-Kazakh Chamber for Commercial Relations with Kazakhstan, Mr. Andrea Miele. The parties discussed ways to solve professional problems as well as future cooperation. The meeting was moderated by Director of Architecture and Construction Institute named after T. Bassenov, Honored Kazakh architect Bolat Kuspangaliyev.
The architect Umberto Alezi is President and founder of Italian "AleziDesign" architectural and design company, a member of Royal Institute of British Architects, also licensed in Italy, a leading specialist in BIM technologies, an expert in building information modeling sphere, a holder of BIM RICS diploma. His works include both Italian and major international projects, villas, business centers, palazzi. Umberto is one of the pioneers of BIM technologies in Europe, he willingly shares knowledge and spreads new methods around the world.
