In this meikaton the honor of our university was defended by the team "KazNRTU", which consists of teachers and students of the department of Robotics and Engineering Tools of Automation.
TOM: Kazakhstan is 72-hour Meikaton, where the makers (craftsmen) together with need-nouers (people with experience) create prototypes, to solve the everyday problems of need-nouers. The purpose of meikaton is to create a simple and affordable device that will facilitate the everyday life of people selling. The organizers of the project are the Association of Friends of the Tel Aviv University (TAU) in the Republic of Kazakhstan in conjunction with the KSMU.
The project consists of three stages - pre-TOM, TOM and post-TOM. Our team went through two stages and got the opportunity to participate in the third draft of this project.
In the course of meikaton the developers of the KazNRTU team made a prototype of a wheelchair capable of climbing the stairs without any help from outside help. This project was approved by the organizers of the meikaton and was given an opportunity to participate in the final stage of this project.
We sincerely congratulate the teachers and students of The Department of Robotics and Engineering Tools of Automation for the high achievements in the meikaton TOM: Kazakhstan.
