The regular Council of University Rectors was held at Satbayev University
The issues such as the approval of Regulations and electing the Chairman of "Aksakaldar Alkassy", the election of the honorary rector, the creation of Satbayev University endowment fund, Collective Agreement of University staff and the benefits package were considered based on the agenda.
The meeting was attended by University Rector Meiram Begentayev, Advisor to Rector Ulukpan Sydykov, Vice-Rector for Corporate Development and Strategic Planning Yerzhan Kuldeyev, Chairman of the Council of Rectors Dossym Suleyev and other members of the Council.
The meeting of the Council began with a minute of silence dedicated to the memory of the outstanding scientist, Doctor of Chemical Sciences, Yerengayip Shaykhutdinov, who died at the age of 88 in 2021.
University Rector Meiram Begentayev made a welcoming speech, expressing gratitude to Council members for their help and contribution to the work and development of Satbayev University.
- Now, our main task is to create comfortable conditions for teaching staff and students. As you can see, we are doing cosmetic repairs at our university on our own with investors’ involvement. The renovation of University's concert hall has been completed, where RK Kazakh National Engineering Academy’s expanded meeting dedicated to 30th anniversary of RK Independence and the Academy was held, - Rector said.
The Council discussed the issues raised, and approved the list of people that were awarded "Gold Medal" of KazNRTU named after K.I.Satbayev, dedicated to 30th anniversary of RK Independence Day. Bayan Rakishev was elected as Honorary Rector of University.
