There was the third qualifying championship EuroChemcase in Satbayev University
November 15, 2017 there was the qualifying round of the EuroChem Championship in Satbayev University. The jury included pro-rector for academic affairs of SU Renat Iskakov, technical director of EuroChem-Karatau Oleg Yelin and Satbayev University professors.
- We are creating the automatic production and planning to introduce artificial intelligence, - Oleg Yelin said. - We have been holding this championship during the second years, and our expectations from the project are fully justified. I can say that the level of performances seriously improves year by year. We invited the best people to our company "EuroChem-Karatau". We are satisfied with their desire for excellence and work in general.
The best teams of the Mining and Metallurgical Institute of SU, which included students and undergraduates of different courses and specialties, attended the championship. More than 40 people prepared their presentations in advance to present their project before a professional jury. The time for presentation was exactly 7 minutes. The participants demonstrated creativity of thinking, originality of decisions, sports excitement.
Anna Matkovskaya, representative of the "Reliable Change" charitable foundation, led the event. She noted the high level of the projects submitted for the competition:
- Our foundation is intended for training specialists for enterprises of Russian and Kazakh industry at the international level. As a representative of the foundation, I participated in many championships and I can say that all the teams performed at roughly the same good level, which rarely happens. Of course, there was winners, there was losers, but all students have a high level.
The best project of the championship was the project of the team "Miners", which will take part in the final stage of the championship in Moscow in February 2018.
