Trade union organization’s meeting was held at Satbayev University

On December 8, Satbayev University employees’ Primary trade union organization’s subsidiary’s extraordinary reporting and election meeting took place. The meeting was attended by representatives of institutes’ trade union organizations, a total of 45 trade union delegates.

Those present at the meeting listened to the report on the work, and elected a new chairperson and members of Satbayev University employees’ Primary trade union organization’s subsidiary as well as members of Control and audit commission of the university.

Chairperson of Kazakhstan Branch Trade Union of Education and Science Aigul Mukasheva held a speech at online meeting from Nursultan. The meeting was personally attended by Deputy Chairperson of the branch trade union Aliya Nabiyeva, Head of Legal Work and Safety and Labor Protection Department Raikhan Kidirbayeva as well as Head of organizational and personnel work Yernar Imanbayev.

The key issue of the meeting was the discussion of a new Collective agreement between the employer and the trade union organization. The delegates discussed the main points of the new Collective Agreement, the draft of which was discussed for 2.5 months before the meeting. About a hundred suggestions and comments were taken into account.

- Satbayev University Collective agreement should be the best one in Kazakhstan’s education system, - said Sholpan Omirzakova.

At the end of the meeting, the delegates noted the merits of the trade union leader who gave more than 20 years to Satbayev University trade union organization, Gert Murataliyev, who has retired this year. Sholpan Omirzakova became the trade union organization’s new chairperson.
