VI International Practical Internet Conference on “Actual problems of science” topic has started
Today, VI International Practical Internet Conference on "Actual Problems of Science" topic, dedicated to 75th anniversary of the birth of Professor, Doctor of technical sciences Bagdaulet Kenzhaliyev, began at Satbayev University. The conference was attended by scientists from 17 countries, representatives of business, science and education.
The signing of cooperation agreements between Satbayev University and foreign universities as well as research institutes from Korea, Russia, China, Malaysia, Indonesia took place at the conference. Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan Sayassat Nurbek participated in the signing of the agreements within the framework of his working visit.
In his speech, Minister noted Satbayev University’s achievements in the course of work on creating the hub of innovative technologies.
— We have selected 15 universities for our academic research development program, including Satbayev University, - said Mr. Minister in his speech. — We tried to create an optimal environment for research and have done a lot of work here to create a dynamic academic and research environment, inviting young scientists and creating the laboratories. This is a very interesting initiative.
The conference was attended by Korean Rare Metals Center’s director Park Kyung Tae, Chairman of International Center for Cultural Communication of Malaysia in China Naisi Bai, associate professor of Chemistry department at School of Sciences of Jordan University Khaldun M. Al Azzam, professor of State University (Jakarta, Indonesia) Herri Retnavati, associate professor of Automotive Engineering department of Mechanical Engineering faculty at Wroclaw University of Science and Technology (Poland) Malgozhata Rutkowska Gorczyca, professor of Sultan Idris Pedagogical University Muhammad Noorazlan Abd Azis and other scientists from different countries.
The two-day conference program is devoted to innovative technologies in the field of ore and techno genic raw materials enrichment, metallurgy of non-ferrous, precious, rare and rare earth metals, promising functional materials and coatings, as well as mathematical models of various processes in technical fields.
The event became an interdisciplinary platform for discussing the innovative technologies, creative ideas, presenting the original cutting-edge research and sharing the latest developments in the industry. As a result of the conference, there will be created new international degree programs, double diplomas and joint research projects as well.
The conference is supported by such prestigious journals as Journal of Engineering Researcher and Lecturer, Teknomekanik, Integrated Use of Mineral Raw Materials, International Journal of Academic Studies in Science and Education (Turkey) and Consortium of Malaysian Universities Associates. The reports results will be published in the collection that will be published in electronic format.
The conference program includes an inspection of the new innovative infrastructure of Satbayev University and a cultural program for foreign participants of the conference.
Doctor of technical sciences, Professor Bagdaulet Kenzhaliyev, whose anniversary the conference is dedicated to, is a well-known scientist who actively works as Director of Metallurgy and Enrichment Institute at Satbayev University. He is one of the founders of the national scientific school in the field of hydrometallurgy of non-ferrous and precious metals. He is the author of 500 publications, including 165 articles in metallurgy and enrichment sphere, 49 reports at international conferences and congresses, 7 monographs, 88 patents and copyright certificates for inventions in Kazakhstan, Russia, Germany and the USA. He conducts fundamental and applied research in the field of metallurgy and enrichment, processing of complex, polymetallic raw materials and obtaining the new materials. Kenzhaliyev B. is Honored Worker of Kazakhstan, Laureate of Al-Farabi State Prize of the Republic of Kazakhstan (2019), was awarded RK MES "For merits in developing the science of the Republic of Kazakhstan" badge.
