We invite you to take part in the competition  of presentations about great scientists  “The Great Scientists of the World”

On February 10, 2024, 14:00 in the co-working space of Satbayev University, Department of Foreign Languages, Institute of Project Management named after E.A. Turkebayeva is holding an event, a competition of presentations about great scientists, dedicated to the 125th anniversary of academician K.Satpayev and the 90th anniversary of the formation of Satbayev University.

The event is associated with a significant event that is important for our entire country. Kanysh Imantaevich Satpayev is a geologist who has invested enormous efforts in the development of industry and science in Kazakhstan. It was thanks to the merits of the great scientist that the foundation of today’s scientific potential that our youth and our country possess was laid. Throughout its history, Satbayev University, named after its ideological inspirer, continues to faithfully serve the behests of Kanysh Satpayev. Polytechnic University has always been at the height of innovation and scientific and technological progress of Kazakhstan, ensuring its development and prosperity.

This event aims to raise awareness of the benefits of science and also serves as a reminder to the community of the need to use scientific and technological advances for peace and development, that is, for the benefit of human civilization. It also highlights the importance and relevance of science to everyday life.

At our University, all first-year students are involved in this event. Students of all levels of English will take part in a presentation competition where they will talk about great scientists whose discoveries changed the world.
