International "Sustainable development and modern integrated, resource-saving and energy-intensive technologies in the mining and metallurgical industry" scientific and practical conference will be held on November 22, 2024.
Conference is dedicated to 85th anniversary of the birth of professor, academician of HS NAS
V.A. Luganov, one of the most prominent and outstanding representatives of Kazakh metallurgical school, who made a significant contribution to science and metallurgical industry, training and education of scientific and engineering personnel for the economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Within the framework of the conference, the named auditorium of professor Vladimir Alekseyevich Luganov "Laboratory of sustainable development of extractive metallurgy" will be opened; the renovation of the laboratory was sponsored by Kazzinc.
Conference will be attended by the representatives of leading companies of the Republic of Kazakhstan: Kazzinc, Kazatomprom, Kazakhmys Corporation, UK TMK, KAZ Minerals Aktogay, Altynalmas, who will take part in discussing the domestic and international experience in the field of sustainable development and modern integrated, resource-saving and energy-intensive technologies in the mining and metallurgical industry.

Conference’s plenary and breakout sessions will analyze the key issues of the mining and metallurgical industry in the context of sustainable economic development, propose specific mechanisms and measures for the transformation of resource-saving technologies in modern conditions.
