Over the years, he held senior positions in Ministry of Economy and Budget Planning, including Minister of Finance, RK President Assistant, and Deputy Head of Presidential Administration. Cavalier of «Құрмет", "Парасат" orders, at the same time, he was awarded «10 years of Astana», «10 years of RK Parliament» and «20 years of RK Independence» medals as well.

Therefore, in October 2018, a student of Satbayev University Vladislav Polonsky, in Timur Ryspekov’s team of programmers, won "NASA Space Apps Challenge" contest. In the same year, graduates of Satbayev University Ruslan Nurlybayev and Aidos Dzholdasov launched a unique start-up for vacuum thermal insulation panels’ manufacturing for construction.
Students can launch their first startup back at the university. Satbayev University has created all conditions for that. The students are assisted by FabLab industrial laboratory, which provides equipment for producing unique parts. In addition, the first supercomputer in Central Asia makes it possible to perform complex calculations, launch projects to create artificial intelligence and process big data.
