Within the framework of “Taza Kazakhstan” movement Satbayev University held “The challenge of green energy” lecture
A lecture was held at the university on the ecology of Kazakhstan, the use of "green" energy and the daily steps that every citizen of Kazakhstan can take to preserve the nature of our native country. Experts and practitioners in the sustainable development sphere discussed key aspects of de-carbonization of Kazakhstan's economy and the introduction of renewable energy sources.
University students and teachers discussed the role of "green" architecture and energy in decarbonizing the economy of Kazakhstan, the advantages and opportunities provided by innovative technologies to reduce the carbon footprint.
The participants discussed current strategies and technologies aimed at reducing the energy consumption and switching to renewable sources, training qualified specialists who will be able to implement such energy sources in all areas of industry and life in the country, which will be an important step towards ensuring the country's energy security and combating the climate change.
The meeting, held within the framework of “Taza Kazakhstan” movement, became a platform for exchanging the experience and knowledge, as well as for creating the new ideas and initiatives in the green energy and sustainable development field.
