Chairman of RK Trade Unions Federation Satybaldy Dauletalin assessed the scientific and technological potential of Satbayev University

Chairman of Trade Unions Federation of the Republic of Kazakhstan Satybaldy Dauletalin visited Satbayev University to get acquainted with the university's activities, its scientific achievements and infrastructure. During the visit, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between the Satbayev University trade union organization and the Federation of Trade Unions of the Republic of Kazakhstan, which confirmed the parties' intention to jointly support Kazakhstan's digital transformation and bring the country's trade unions into the modern era by introducing digital tools and the single window principle.

Throughout the tour, the guest visited key facilities of Mining and metallurgical complex, including the chemical analysis laboratory, the environmental monitoring laboratory, nanotechnology, geo-mechanics and hydrometallurgical research units, as well as Techno-park Story-tech innovation laboratory. The experts spoke about the projects they are working on, including the digital technologies for ore analysis, modern environmental methods and applied research for industry.

Satybaldy Dauletalin, Satbayev University’s graduate noted the great changes that have taken place at his alma mater in recent years. He stressed that the modern material and technical base, innovative laboratories and research centers create all the necessary conditions for scientists to create innovations and introduce advanced technologies into our country’s industry.

During the visit, Dauletalin also got acquainted with the creative side of the technical university, visiting D.K. Suleyev Center for Science and Creativity, ArtLab Creative Center, the recording studio and the unique MIT FabLab engineering laboratory, where students implement their engineering projects and innovative start-ups. All these spaces form the ecosystem of technological creativity at the university, allowing students to turn ideas into real products, which is very important for training the new generation of specialists.

Satybaldy Dauletalin's visit highlighted the continuity of graduates’ generations and the university's role in training highly qualified engineers. Returning the country's most influential public leaders to the alma mater has become a symbol of the university's connection with its graduates and confirmation of its significance as a national center for engineering and innovation.
