Kazakh National Research Technical University named after K. I. Satbayev was renamed into Satbayev University
October 5, 2017 in the concert hall of the Palace of the Republic was held the presentation of thebnew logo and the name of the University named after K. I. Satbayev. During the presentation, was celebrated the dedication of first-year University full students and a 50-year anniversary of the legendary ensemble "DOS-Man".
Satbayev University holiday has become one of the most important events in the student life of Almaty. Many representatives of media and show business came to congratulate the University. The show program included performances of the group "DOS-Mukasan", singer Abdulkarim Karimov and virtuoso pianist Oleg Pereverzev.
The new logo of Satbayev University embodies the high level of aspirations of the renewed University and respect for the traditions laid down by Kanysh imantaevich Satbayev.
The design of the emblem is laconic and original. It is designed specifically to speak to a young audience in the same language. The image of an open book is a traditional symbol of science and knowledge. The stylized letter S, as well as the opening date of the University, contained in the new version of the logo, emphasizes the heritage of our people, which we cherish.
The updated logo is a logical step, marking a new stage and transition to a new model of work, which will have an impact on all aspects of the life and activities of the University.
The further development of the University fully corresponds to the task set by the President of Kazakhstan to create a major research center on the basis of Satbayev University. The economic model of the University has already been completely revised, which is now focused on increasing the number of innovative projects.
Special emphasis is placed on industrial practice and cooperation with foreign universities. Most of the University's employees will be involved in research activities, the number of startups and new developments for production will increase.
